Vardenafil Tablets

Super Vilitra is a combination medication that contains two active ingredients: vardenafil and dapoxetine. It is used to treat two common male sexual dysfunctions: erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE). This medication is not approved by the FDA in the United States, but it is available in other countries.

 

Active Ingredients and How They Work

 

• Vardenafil (20mg): This is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It works similarly to other ED medications like sildenafil (Viagra). During sexual stimulation, vardenafil helps relax the blood vessels in the penis, increasing blood flow to enable an erection.

• Dapoxetine (60mg): This is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that is specifically formulated for "on-demand" use. It helps to increase the level of serotonin in the nervous system, which in turn improves control over ejaculation and increases the time taken to ejaculate.

Super Vilitra is used to address the dual issues of:

Dosage and Administration

 

The typical dosage is one tablet containing 20mg of vardenafil and 60mg of dapoxetine. It is usually taken orally with a glass of water approximately 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity. It should not be taken more than once in a 24-hour period.

 

Side Effects

 

Because Super Vilitra combines two different drugs, the side effects can be a combination of those from both vardenafil and dapoxetine. Common side effects may include:

• From Vardenafil: Headache, flushing, stuffy or runny nose, dizziness, and indigestion.

• From Dapoxetine: Nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and fatigue.

More serious side effects can occur, and if you experience any of the following, you should seek immediate medical attention:

• A prolonged and painful erection (priapism) lasting more than 4 hours.

• Sudden loss of vision or hearing.

• Chest pain, shortness of breath, or an irregular heartbeat.

• Signs of an allergic reaction, such as a rash, hives, or swelling of the face, lips, or tongue.

 

Precautions and Warnings

 

• Nitrates: Do not take Super Vilitra if you are on any medication containing nitrates for chest pain or heart problems. The combination can cause a life-threatening drop in blood pressure.

• Cardiovascular Health: Men with pre-existing heart conditions, a history of heart attack or stroke, or low blood pressure should consult a doctor before using this medication.

• Kidney or Liver Issues: Dosage adjustments may be necessary for individuals with impaired kidney or liver function.

• Other Medications: Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements, as they can interact with the components of Super Vilitra.

• Alcohol: Avoid or limit alcohol consumption while taking this medication, as it can increase the risk of side effects like dizziness.
